Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

You need to be promoted.
This sounds more like an ACD than an SAD
I feel like it’ll be a group art supervisor if this is pharma
No you’re not crazy.
It sounds like the work you are doing is aligned to art supervisor / Sr. AD - especially if you’re managing freelancers or interns.
I’d say get your resume and portfolio together and using your network start shopping it around . After 8 years in the industry I’m sure you’ve got some people in mind who’ve moved on to other agencies and can maybe recommend you for a job.
Now location is less of an issue so you could potentially be able to apply for roles within the NY market that may have not been possible in the past given commute .
Pharma is expanding right now and there are definitely opportunities out there - especially with that level of experience. If you’re not satisfied with your agency it might be best to move on and get a role that you’ll be paid fairly for but that may be able to expand your skill set even more. Def worth looking !
Could you work to get another offer?
@EP1 At another agency? Or the current one?
Thanks for all your advice! Got an supervisor role for 125k! Start next month! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Political because it’s only been 12 months. I have coming on 8 years of pharma experience. And 3 as an pharma intern all at the same company. For more reference, 86k suburb of Philly. Am I crazy for wanting this?
@ADOP with that experience I could easily see a Sr AD making 100k. You need to be able to translate why your actions kept the business in house/clients happy.
Also, Pharma pays $$$ but you might not be in the right area.
Just saw 3 promos come through all at or under 12 months since their last promotion. I’m so bothered....
Don’t know too much about MHNJ- there is another thread in the pharma bowl that puts MHNJ in a poor light :-(. But who knows! Better to have the conversation and see what your feelings are after exploring the opportunity .
In another pharma bowl post - area 23 posted they were hiring / klick as well. I know a couple folks who work for klick who also live in philly (did pre pandemic ) so maybe that’s a better vibe.
Also FCB health has a lot of openings - they are pet of area 23 but wouldn’t hurt to look.
