Been at big 4 since analyst and out of 15+ projects I don’t think me or any team I’ve been on has delivered something the client actually acted on/put in production/used... anyone else feel the same?

Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?

Started in industry two weeks ago. No timesheets, 40 hour work weeks, and 30% more than what I was making previously. We use all B4 for everything, so it’s just managing their work and budgeting. How bad is reneging an offer from B4? What happens to my name/resume for that firm in the future? Have an offer in hand that expires sooner than I expect to receive an offer (or rejection) from a more lucrative opportunity (30-40k bump in salary, more aligned with the work, better title). Debating the potential impact of accepting the lesser offer, and then if needed reneging. Any insight from personal experience?
