Can anyone speak to the general firm culture at Foley? Reasonable work life balance?

This is a dumb problem - but need advice. I basically went from 78k/yr to 138k/yr in alittle over a year. Combined with my partner's income we've gone from contributing small abouts to a Roth IRA to not being eligible for contribute. Our combined income is 261k.

We're almost debt free except the house note (1257/month) , maxing out out 401k, but we planned on doing a Roth IRA and cant now.

So what are the next steps sense we complete blew over the Roth IRA step.

What type of social media content and project development tools do you use? The company I just started at is still using Google sheets, so I’d like to get the content workflows in something better. I accepted an offer last month with company A, for an in house healthcare company, good salary and good benefits, 2 years to vest in 401k, uncapped quarterly commissions.
This week company B has extended an offer for same type of role just different (new speciality) for me to recruit. Leaning more towards company B based on offer: 20K more in base salary, more PTO and vacation time, no commission, but they offer 8-10% annual bonus, 401k vest immediately. What do I do? Any tips on choosing?

8 yrs experienced accountant here - background in Tax(HNW ind, Corp, pship), Audit (NFP, govt, healthcare, Ed), Management accounting & reporting. Just broke in to the Workday ecosystem after passing FIN at Deloitte. Currently on a higher ed project and completed banking & settlement cert - picking up where another consultant left off. Getting married in October and just pulled the trigger to downsize the guest list to family and move the big reception to next year. And I'm really struggling.

What I mean by that is I have a roommate who always calls the shots on everything- friend hangout, hosting, eating out, etc. It always feels like I’m just there doing what she wants to do. It’s annoying and frustrating but how does one address or deal with it?
