Been in edisc vendor biz dev/ops for a decade and want to transition to law firm biz dev. Though the scope is a little different in my eyes, I'm convinced the skills are at least somewhat transferable...am I wrong? Best way to position myself?

Hey guyz, can any one shed light on how is the business analyst role in operations and strategy department, Gurgaon. Work culture wise and growth wise.

Currently interviewing for a VC Associate role (pre-MBA), a FAANG PM Role, and have 2 Series A funded startup offers for product/growth. Does it make sense to wait until I can get MBB experience?

Looking for advice from any level of management within consulting who also are in the Reserve.

I’m a 26yr old E-5 with one year left on my first enlistment contract. In addition, I’m a Consultant at B4. Really enjoying both jobs and can see myself maintaining both for at least another 5+ years. So I will likely re-up next year.

Can anyone speak to how hard it is to manage a family, a consulting career, and a Reserve career at the same time?

Hi all,

I currently have one offer at hand, from Salesforce as a MTS as a big data engineer 38l ctc. I am offered another role at Novartis as a platform architect with 37l ctc. The profile in Novartis is at band 5, while Salesforce is offering me a position which I feel is less for my yoe. 9 yoe. Which one should I go for?

Is the work you’d do at MBB significantly different from big 4 strategy? Debating IB vs MBB, leaning towards IB because it seems like a different skill set.

So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

I just find some firms are unwilling to entertain the idea that anyone but a lawyer has anything relevant to contribute in this space…

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.

So here are my questions.

How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.

When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Thanks in advance!

I currently work as a personal injury lawyer at a small law firm, 5 years experience, graduated from T30 law school in 2015. Our subject area is pretty niche, and I am looking to branch out. Not big law, but a different subject area, and hopefully something with a better work life balance (have a small child with hopes for more). Open to leaving the law for a compliance/HR/other type position. Am I even marketable for something like that? Am I being unrealistic?
