EY So, here it is.. What it is.. PwC india, Kolkata location is really bad. I had mixed feelings but after giving partner round & hr rounds.. I sense that.. They hv ego inbuilt for no reason.. "Big4", trying to sell d brand.. But culture is toxic.. I spoke to 1 HR over LinkedIn from pwc she was kind enough to share the salary range for my YOE & tech domain.. But the actual HR gave 50% less than that & trying to sell Big4.. No mam.. U r wrong..! If big4 then pay premium salary. @ey.Deloitte KPMG PwC

Go for it, what's stopping you dipping back into agency work if it doesn't pan out?

For me, it all depends on the agency you’re at now, and who you’re working under. If you’ve currently got the opportunity to be mentored and/or make work then consider growing in your craft. If not, take the opportunity. But bear in mind the lifestyle creep that will inevitably happen on a better wage. It will make it harder to go back agency side. If you do move; stay honest with yourself. Are your creative standards dropping? Are the opportunities to write good work diminishing?
Go client side!
Let’s be honest, work quality might go down and you wouldn’t be attractive or make networking with agencies for future. Do you want to come back to agencies? So it’s ok in case you already have good work on your book, awards, etc and can stay one year or two doing not so cool stuff. Our main goal in life is be happy and get paid, and in house job must have better work life balance. For salary ask as much you can, don’t think about your salary jump. Think about what the position pays.
