Flexing (not traveling) for the week when you're feeling really sick? What's the etiquette here? (Thinking I'll be out Monday-Tuesday/Wednesday anyway so doesn't seem worth it to fly out at all)
Any agencies with good parental leave policies? Or are most through short-term disability or only partial pay?
My offer was accepted! Yay! But my offer was $45k over listed price. I’m feeling sick! My realtor and I agreed it was undervalued based on recent comps nearby and there’s a lot of development happening around the neighborhood so I’m hoping the house’s value will continue to go up. I love the house and after months of looking I’m so glad they accepted but I just hate how much over asking I’m paying for. Anyone else immediately feel this way? Make me feel better? Or call me an idiot, idk what…
Is it dumb to leave Accenture to go to McKinsey? I’m already sick of consulting and really dont want to sacrifice quality of life but the offer is enticing.
I’ve never been unintelligent, but does anyone else feel manipulated to think so by leadership? It almost feels like a sick game how leadership talks down to AEs...
How sick is this?
I have been given a sick note by my doctor to get my hours altered and be on light duty because I’m having crazy pregnancy insomnia. Since I’m not ready to talk about my pregnancy it just says Stress anxiety and tiredness. I’m just really worried this will reflect badly on me but I have become so inefficient at work. What do you think?

Any trial prep tips and tricks for an associate second-chairing a medical malpractice case for the first time?
I am a part of the AI/ML arm of BCG and I’m sick of how consulting sells this tech. Our pitches like to suggest how disruptive the tech is, and then we use it for low value items. We claim ...
Has anyone given any thought to the possibility of keeping quarantined staff and students at school in a separate area and allow instruction to be monitored by said staff? I am not talking ones who are truly feeling ill but we have teachers who have had to ne home with allergy like symptoms...those teachers could monitor students who are also not feeling ill in an area a way from the nonquarantined student body...maybe other schools have students have students who work their hearts out not our
Does your company's health plan cover infertility treatment? If so, what is the lifetime cap if any? My company just implemented a cap—admittedly we were lucky before—but this new cap of $30k only covers ~$6k in medical expenses (another ~$23k in prescriptions) which wouldn't even get us through one IVF cycle (extract/implant once).
I’m in a pickle. Currently working in multistate tax and I am not a fan. I just accepted a position with KPMG on their methods team (it sounds like interesting work and I’m sick of compliance). I put in my notice and my Deloitte manager is trying to fight for me. He wants to match the pay they are offering and get me into a group that I like more. I am a ball of anxiety. Loved the people I met with for KPMG, but having my manager push so hard for me is making me have second thoughts. Any input?

Anybody aware of any recruitment agencies (at senior levels) in the APAC region (Singapore, India) for life sciences? Currently in the US and thinking of moving to another geography for personal reasons post covid
Do a lot of consultants eventually found or work at startups? From what I’ve experienced and heard, they both seem like fast-paced environments full of intelligent people. But from people I’ve seen, most consultants exit to industry/mature companies. Is there a reason why more aren’t going towards startups that I’m missing?
I am scared of returning to my empty classroom that sits in a covid hotspot. Its all I want to focus on but I can't...so many great things happened during the spring and summer and they never got celebrated. There's no time like the present! Let's drop the negative, mind numbing complaints (speaking to myself) and grow & glow through it
What’s with all these lower-tiered firms matching the DPW scale and the V10 staying quiet? Is it indicative of another raise coming?
Tips for consolidating credit cards ? I use at least 4 cards, it's hard to stay on top of the deadlines for payments and utilization. I use Mint and Mint Bills currently.

What are your thoughts on the value of a Harvard Extension School degree vs. a standard online MBA from a reputable public university? I feel like the Harvard name carries a lot of value....
Best quote from the movie Office Space that can actually be used in some form on a client deck. I need something to break the monotony.
Would you be ok to travel if economy opens up May first week since now we have thousands on ventilators with each state?
My 4 YO takes riding lessons at a small barn outside of the city. I hopped on a horse there recently for old time's sake, but haven't really ridden in years. A casualty of the legal profession, along with the rest of my hobbies from my former country life. His instructor asked me if I'd be willing to get back in the saddle. Part of me is like, this is the change I need. It will help me lose this COVID-15lbs. But I'm also terrified and I have no idea why. (cont)
Want to invest in real estate in NYC, but I'm currently still on F1 OPT visa, is it worth it?
Considering offers between Kearney and S& out of undergrad. What are peoples thoughts between the two, any significant difference in prestige and exit ops or are they largely the same? Is S& in a better position with pwc behind it?
Been living in NY the past 3 years at an agency. Im interviewing for a role in LA and excited/nervous. Felt like I didn’t really get to experience NYC because of the pandemic and now I might be leaving. Good opportunity, but have never been lived in the west coast and not sure how to decide. Advice ?
