I want to spend $10k on a cruise to Antarctica. My wife doesn’t want to go and doesn’t think I should spend the money either. I make 200k and she makes 65k. I worked hard to get a 37k hot skill bonus from all the certs I studied for. We are recently married. I’m discouraged because I feel like I can’t save and spend my money the way I did before. I know marriage is supposed to be united financially, but since we are recently married it’s tough to give up my freedom financially. Advice?

I’m a recent grad & began my first career as a marketing coordinator. It’s been quite frustrating to say the least. The company doesn’t understand the purpose of marketing, & recently hopped into the digital world - many of which don’t find it valuable. On the other hand, my manager assigns me lots of copy projects to do & either doesn’t give me informational feedback or completely disregards my work. Before I was hired, she knew exactly how my writing style was like but doesn’t use it. Help! :(

So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

I got placed at an agency to freelance for a few weeks by Creative Circle. Im not ‘on call’ so im only charging for the hours im actually working. How do you prefer to work with freelancers in this situation? I’m not sure if I should be letting them know if I have nothing to work on at the moment or not. Designers: how many unique projects do you typically work on daily? I’m 5 years in with my company, am the sole graphic designer for about 34 clients, and am working on 5-7 (sometimes 10) different projects with completely different branding on the daily. I feel like my brain is at capacity. Is this normal? Sometimes I wake up afraid I won’t be able to be creative that day 😭
