Been searching for a job since March. Have had plenty of interviews and offers. Nothing has been worth it. But I am really unhappy at my job. It’s a drag and I don’t enjoy a moment of it. It’s hurting my practice. I wish I could just quit and wait for the right job, but I can’t do that with a family to support. Anyone in the same situation? Advice?

I need more insight. I just got done with my on-site interview (flew 1,000 miles) they paid for everything. I had interviews with the director, CNO, and fellow managers. The CNO was fourth coming with all information and said they would develop me to reach my career goals. The managers were telling me the good school districts etc. and we’re agreeing with my answers during the interview. I’m probably going to end up over analyzing everything until I hear back. However, even after completion of address verification, I received a mail stating that my address verification was not successful and I was asked to share my permanent address. I am getting offered in the 75-80K range for an AVP audit role with Citi, C12. Travel role- up to 75%. 6 yoe in the industry.
I was being offered another C12 role a few months back that was in another business line, but 10K more a year. Same market- Kansas City. Worked for Citi before. This wouldn’t really be much of a pay bump for me unless the bonus potential is there as well.

After one interview, I tried to withdraw my candidacy due to the salary being lower than expected. Shortly after the hiring manager contacted me to inform me that they accidentally gave me the wrong salary range and invited me to come back for a second interview. Did well in first and second interview. Third interview was behavioral questions which I had a gut feeling I didn’t do well on. Niche consultant position. Was executive in last role. Have sent enthusiastic thank you emails to all three. Would sending a more in-depth addendum email to 2nd and 3rd interviewers to better answer missed questions be over eager?
