Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking approx ONE HOUR from a media professional for a SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name to relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIn. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

If you aren’t working with a gi, I highly recommend that. Besides that I’ve tried to stop eating so late and sit up more after meals. Also keep a food diary and keep track of any food that does you dirty.
Good luck!
Strange, and sorry to hear it’s so complicated. Picking your foods and eating earlier might be key.
I also had a friend who found out it was stress/anxiety related when he thought it was acid reflex so sorting that out made it go away.
Either way good luck, I know the pain of acid reflux is no joke.

Try and avoid trigger foods [tomatoes, fatty foods, soft drinks, some coffees]
So at least according to my doctor, throat burn reflux (at least the kind resulting from a leaky/weakened esophageal valve) isn’t ever something you “kick” but something that you manage by understanding your triggers (foods, stress, exercise, time of eating, etc).
I knew someone who had this problem, but it wasn’t acidic foods it was base foods that were triggering her. Unfortunately it’s not always clear, but it’s 100% solvable and will definitely be food-related. Try to test things out and play around a bit so you can figure o out what works. Even if you don’t exactly figure out the problem, you can still come up with a good solution for yourself, and it also infers what the issue could be. It may sound overwhelming but it worked for my friend, and for me in other areas of health as well. I know exactly how it feels to know you’re sick or something is wrong, but doctors can’t find anything and they tell you that you’re fine or healthy when you’re not :( Keep trying, don’t give up! You’ll get through this 💕
I've been dealing with globus since end of September and I don't have other classic heartburn symptoms. Saw an ENT (showed slight irritation near vocal cords) and GI (endoscopy was clear) so not sure how to proceed from here. I had similar symptoms a few years ago when I was in consulting and also ran a battery of tests but eventually went away. Could be stress-related? I am a bit of a hypochondriac so WFH + stress could definitely have triggered mine
