Someone solve this for me- I’m going crazy! I have a prepaid visa debit card. I used it at a pizza restaurant for a total (incl tip) of 24 even. The visa card balance says I spent 28.80 at the pizza restaurant. So I checked with the restaurant to see if someone could’ve tacked on an extra tip, but their system shows $24. Does visa charge a 20% fee?!?! That would be insane right? Has anyone experienced these visa debits and know what the culprit could be?

A recruiter I know posted about an opening at a different agency. I dmed her my book to pass along and she remembered me and let me know the CDs were looking at books the following week. I went ahead and reached out to some of the CDs on Linkedin. Had a really great meeting with one of them who said she loved my book and passed along to the CCO/Recruiter there. CCO said he remembered seeing my book from the recruiter (good?). But 2 weeks and nothing since. Followed up - no response. Give up?
