I’ve been a project manager (delivery focused) for 8 years now and have worked across multiple companies / teams as I am a contractor. Lately I’ve been feeling really bored in my roles and not challenged enough. I’ve previously loved what I do but now I feel indifferent towards my role. I’m worried if I look for more senior PM roles I will feel the same. What other options could I explore and has anyone else had a similar experience?

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. The hostility on my team is rough. We have a yeller. I walked by her room the other day. She was screaming across the room at a student, "you have to be kind to get kindness." Seriously, those were her words in a loud, berating, angry tone. Our admin has asked that we not report these. We are to talk to the teacher. She has yelled at me and other adults. Admin has to know she treats the kids this way too. One teacher has to work with her door closed to not hear the yelling all day.

I had HR discussion for Infy on 26th June. HR was quite arrogant and displayed typical attitude during discussion. My current CTC is 10.2 and requested for 15-16 YOE 8 years. She told max we can offer is 13.5 and if iam interested they ll process my candidature. But I asked them for more based on my exp then she asked me since iam ex infoscion ( joined as fresher and left ) they need to take business approval. I told okay.
