Hoping this doesn’t turn controversial. Should I be teaching my young kids to read Quran in Arabic (so learn a new language just to read Quran but no value otherwise), or skip Arabic and have them read transliteration (so like Alhamdu lilahi) or third option to just read in English the translation where they will actually understand? I mean, I spend 100 dollars a week on a tutor to teach them Arabic. My parents spent thousands and I can barely read it now and prefer transliteration.thoughts?

My family mistreated me when I was younger, and now that I don’t live at home, they don’t call or bother to look for me, because frankly, I think they have a hard time admitting what happened - and will never apologize to me either. If I don’t call, or occasionally go see them during the holidays, we would never talk. Some of them are growing old (health-wise), and I’m scared this entire situation is just irreparable. The recruiter in charge of my case was on holidays and he came back to work last week.
Sent him two emails asking when I should expect the new set of documents, but no reply until today.
Is this normal? Does a new offer necessarily have to go through the same steps as the first one ? Because I waited 10 days between the verbal offer and the written one for the first time.

I have accepted my sexuality and found peace with the long battle of wanting to be something not what I actually am.
