What's the best way to prepare a business case presentation? I've been invited to a final round interview for a medical device company as a process optimization consultant. They sent me a client case study. In the case there are pain points of the client, and some numbers to analyze their workflow and recommend them to use their medical devices for process improvement. I'm not sure how to stucture it. how would you approach it?

Has anyone transitioned into product management? I would love to hear your story! I have 8 years experience in project management but I don’t know how to pivot. I don’t think I want to pivot internally because I’ve heard negative things about our product management teams. I’ve been thinking about moving into project management at a SaaS company but that is proving to be hard since I have no SaaS experience. Would love to hear anyone experience on moving into product management.

I started working on a Masters degree in Biotechnology before I was offered a job at Accenture. I am currently part of an application support team for a pharma client and I’m continuing my education on the side. As a biotechnology grad student I’m confused on how this degree will help me grow within Accenture. I really do want to be a part of Accenture long term so I’m wondering whether I should change my course of study or continue and apply else where after graduation. Any advice?

Two common phrases that, in our industry, we can never utter when talking to a client - "I don't remember" and "I don't know". It is a strict unspoken rule. Any semblance of incompetence is a major no no.

Interested in getting others perspective here. Senior consultant but received an offer in healthcare industry for more money and an upgraded title. TC for the offer is about a 25% increase, with the base being higher than my current TC. I accepted a new job, they said PTO was “generous.” I find out it’s 19 days a year of PTO (which includes sick days). I have two young children and we like to vacation 1-2x a year (no more than a few days away each time). Am I crazy that this is pretty limited time off? 8 of the normal holidays off during the year (working the week between Christmas and NYE). Thoughts? I dont know if lack of PTO is a good reason to back out, is it?

I’ve been a Software Developer at FedEx for over 3 years, making 75k plus a small bonus of ~$6k. I’m fine with the lower salary because of the great work/life balance, but seeing how much others are making at similar companies makes me think I’m getting ripped off. I’d like to be making six figures, but am worried about work/life balance if I leave FedEx. Thoughts?
