Value creation case study interview coming up at a big 4 - what should I expect? (Will be my first case study interview, transitioning from audit)
79 interviews 13 super days 2,370 minutes spent interviewing 1 offer Absurd. Relieved, but absurd.
How do you plan logistics if you have an in person interview on Friday and are traveling for client work that week? Ex: fly home Thurs night (firm pays), fly out Fri morning (interviewer pays)
Hello Nagarrians, I recently joined Nagarro and got confirmed in project but got rejected in 3rd round of client interview so they released me after a week. Does it mean I was on project or i was on bench? I've heard they fire people on bench after two months.
I’m currently interviewing for SM with Accenture Strategy. Any know the base and bonus ranges?
Was given 3 days for a take home test as second round of an interview. Ended up having client work the entire weekend, okay to ask for another day as a result of this or no?
Anyone hiring fresh college grads? I got brother who’s been applying everywhere with no luck. He’s in San Fran
Pharma headhunters in NYC? Looking to get into big pharma specifically in technology/digital innovation(AI, NLP, etc). Are recruiters gatekeepers to roles or is it applying through company site
Anyone else just feeling really depressed and anxious? I’m a smart person but even doing the simplest task rn seems like a mountain. Interviews pausing, possible layoffs,&quarantine aren’t helping...
What makes Accenture so great and what opportunities to enhance your development have they given you (I have an interview tomorrow)?
Had a successful screen call for Deloitte strategy consulting, and the recruiter promised to schedule follow up interviews within 2-3 days. I followed up after waiting for a week and was promised a response from another recruiter. It’s been another 3 business days. I hope your consulting teams are not as bad as your recruiters..😑
Hey 🐠 fam: have a verbal offer from PwC awaiting the offer letter but expected to get it today. Partner from the group I interviewed with called me personally to congratulate me and offered to talk if I had any questions, etc. he seems really excited to have me and values my prior experiences and our Interview ran well over the allotted time. Is this standard or has anyone had this happen? Unsure what to do haha I’m sure I can think of questions to ask? Not really sure what the best move is
What is best practice when discussing engagements that I’ve worked on at an interview? Should I specifically name the company, or just talk about the industry and what I did on that audit?
Any kind souls out there willing to throw me a drink voucher? 😁 help a fellow fish drown her sorrows from a bombed MBB interview
All, this is my first post and I just want to share that I passed the first Amazon interview for Technical Program Manager and am heading to on-site virtual interviews! I have 20 years of corporate tech in a traditional F500 company (top 50). The only thing I can say that I like about my current job is the work-life balance and some of the people. But the work itself is soul crushing and the industry is stagnant. To those who are 40+ years old, is it crazy to change now?
Have a Manager level interview with GuideHouse coming up. What kind of questions can I expect beyond “Tell me about projects you’re on” and “Why Guidehouse?”
Got my first interview invite after not hearing back from Yale and NYU, feels good to have something moving along!

Hello industry folks, really need your career advice - YOE 4.5, CTC - 6.4 LPA, ICICI Recently transitioned from an operations role to Product Manager role. Got a new opportunity with Infosys as Senior Associate Consultant Banking Domain for 11LPA+1L Joining Bonus. Now, as I transitioned to PM role, there are tons of opportunities to learn and grow, however, CTC and hikes are meagre. Whereas, with the new opportunity, CTC is good, but cant figure out what career would be in Infosys and after.
Seeing some pretty good comps on Glassdoor for Slalom. What’s the pay band / benefits package like for Consultant or Consultant eq specializing in Analytics like?
I have CPA and am thinking about getting another certification. CFA may be too difficult for me. Would CFP a better and useful certification to get that will add value to you on resume/job?
Hey all - need some important advice. I feel like I under-bargained base/starting salary at Slalom. Got 79K base with up to 8% bonus in a low-to-medium cost of living area as an AC. I'm 1 year out of college (top 40 uni) with ~1 year of NON-consulting experience (mostly programming/software dev. experience at some small companies). How should I expect to increase the salary up to six-figures for the next 2-3 years?
Just got a call from my PML, thought I was gonna be fired. Turns out I got promoted. 🤷🏽♂️ life’s funny sometimes.
How long does it take to hear back on results from the first round of interviews at BCG? Had first round interviews last week and really want to join the firm.
About to start traveling again after a year and a half local. Based in Chicago, only have Gold on American but MVP Gold 75k with Alaska. Can take UA, AA, or SW to new client in PHL (cont'd)
When calling American to ask for points what are you telling them ? My flight was delayed due to a lightbulb change which means I missed my connector and my client dinner Never had to claim points
Welcome to Ex H1B bowl. Anyone and everyone who's moved or palnning to move to Canada from the US, while stuck in the green card backlog.
Does anyone else feel disadvantaged professionally due to a general “bro-culture” in finance?
When do you take your internship off your resume? At the 5 year mark in my career running out of space to make it all fit on 1 pg.
Schweser Packages for CFA lvl 2 - is it worth the price? Is it worth adding the live classroom component (premium)?
Can someone explain how so many people have competing offers for negotiation? I keep hearing “don’t expect to have a strong case for negotiation unless you have a competing offer”. Wouldn’t that have to line up perfectly with you interviewing for multiple roles at the same time?? An offer has a quick expiration period... or do you negotiate with an expired offer you rejected within the past few weeks.
Joined a new role about 4 months ago from consulting and think I may not be a great fit because my role has evolved to be more technical than I expected. Has anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions on what to do?
When considering inflation, do I have reason and leverage to legitimately try to negotiate my offer from big 4 after doing internship and graduating with masters degree in nyc?
