Would you try to negotiate price change after signing a P&S given the following facts? The home had a pipe burst in November 2021. The pipe is fixed. Damaged area is down to the studs. The home itself is over 130 years old. When we signed the P&S the market was still hot, so we couldn’t negotiate a home inspection. However, we are getting the home for well below pre-pipe burst asking price. This past week we visited and noticed the water was not on. We don’t know for how long it’s been off.

I am looking to open a Roth IRA account. I currently already have a personal investment account with TD Ameritrade and 401k with Schwab. Leaning towards adding it on to TD, but unsure of possible fees saved at Fidelity or Vanguard being large enough to outweigh the burden of adding one more brokerage to the list. Have 6 months of emergency savings, really tempted to cut it down to 3 and move the rest into market (index funds / ETFs). Have you had this temptation? How have you handled it?

If I have a Roth IRA that I contributed to previously but this year I’ll be making over the income limit and want to do a backdoor conversion, should I open a new Roth IRA? Or open a traditional Roth and then convert into the same Roth I used before? Will there be any issues one way or another when it comes to taxes?
