I make close to $32 /hr. I love my job but I think I am very underpaid. Should I adventure for better paying company ? I don’t like change.

With your experience, you could easily make $80k, if not more. I would start applying for more positions. :) Once you work up the courage, you'll probably find something pretty quickly! It'll be worth the risk and change for sure.

What are you currently making at the moment and where are you based? That might help come up with a more accurate answer

I have a Bachelor degree too and I am based in Orlando Florida

That's the issue with our hospital. We aren't being paid enough. We're a college town and can't compete with the larger cities.

Find a hospital that has pay scales based on years of experience (0-2, 2-5, 5-10 years, etc). Most smaller hospitals typically have one hire in rate regardless of years of experience. Also, working union vs non-union comes into play. You can't negotiate a set union rate. Good luck!

Hi there! I currently hire RRT's for Cleveland Clinic, and would love to talk! We have positions open in both Ohio and Florida. We can offer you more than what you are currently making, and are also offering a sign-on bonus! What is the best way to reach you to tell you all about what we have to offer? You can email me at baileys11@ccf.org if you dont feel comfortable giving me your information.
I would love to hear from you and tell you what all we have to offer that will make you feel valued for your work!

Associates, how did you balance your morning sickness and fatigue in early pregnancy with work? Our district is so lax on the students this year. With tech issues and distance learning days, we’ve gone from accommodating to enabling real quick. No penalties for late work, taking excuses for attendance, lower academic and behavioral standards... We were beginning to make so much progress on transforming our school culture, but this year is erasing that and then some. Is anyone else concerned about how to raise the expectations and students’ self-discipline back to pre-enabling levels?

Anyone else obsess over your next career move? I’m a senior associate in a niche BigLaw group in DC. I am just now hitting my stride and can really see a path to partnership. The problem is that this isn’t what I want, or at least what I think I want. (Continued in comments).

Hi everyone! I have a couple of interviews coming up for entry level roles at firms in the ME. Would anyone be willing to do cases? I’ve done mock cases with fellow graduates but would prefer more experienced interviewers. Any help is appreciated!🤞

I used to do staffing. Involved cold calling And spamming clients and emails. People treated recruiters as middlemen, a noise and felt disrespectful.

But it’s not easy profession - to specialize and win in a niche.

I know it could be automated and give an experience to candidates and clients by making it ondemand, instant and specialization. I saw a Vision to turn this recruiting business into ondemand staffing companies like Airbnb - just publish talent and do the transaction.

Hello all!

I’m a MSN, RN with 7 years of critical care nursing experience (ICU/PACU). Prior to becoming a nurse, I was a Medical Service Corps officer in the US Army for 8 years. I have my BSN/MSN and a non-nursing MA.
I’m interested in shifting gears to healthcare consulting. I’ve heard great things about Chartis and would love to hear more, specifically with regards to nurses making the jump. Can anyone offer insight or any other consulting firm they recommend?
Thank you in advance!

Healthcare corporations… please note you have more then 1 shift of workers. You have 3 most times, each shift has to be treated equally. This is and always have been an issue, and you cannot figure out why the other shifts refuse to be active and participate in anything and definitely not engaged anymore.
