Hey everyone, new to the big 4 (only about 3 months) and I think I’ve finally got my bearings at the company. Anyone have any tips on how to network internally for being rolled onto a team? Like when I reach out to someone for a coffee chat, what do I say/ do? Ask about how they got into that role? Ask for internal work? Any advice is appreciated!

I am highly interested in applying for the "Technology Strategy Consultant" role at the Big D in NYC. One of the questions I have is that a requirement is "minimum if a bachelor degree and 2+ years consulting/industry experience" Assuming my internships don't count for industry experience. I'll only have a couple months of experience as a consultant, I also do have a master's degree if it helps satisfies that requirement. Any insight if Deliotte would consider me as a candidate or toss me?
Salary brags on here are great but honestly have affected my own reality of what appropriate salary is for someone with my experience. I’m looking at a job offer for a product management/deputy program manager role. Job was looking for 5+ yoe in related role and supporting government client. I have about that much exp. Offer made was for $115,000 which is 20k more than what I make now, however I’m considered underpaid for what I do. Is this good or not? I’m so confused 😵💫

I’ve worked in Management Consulting for around 5 years. Been looking for exit ops working closer to content/releases at music labels (WMG, SME, UMG) for the past year but it’s so hard to get my foot in the door without significant past music experience 😭 Anyone have any advice, or potential contacts?
A recruiter reached out to me to ask if I’d be interested in a position and if I could give them permission to send my book to some CDs. How long should I wait to reach back out to the recruiter if I haven’t heard back?
I was HC approved, but told that the hiring manager is still deciding on which candidate to offer the job to. How often are folks successfully matched with teams they didn’t initially interview for?
Just got an offer outside accounting in tech and nervous as hell for what's to come. I'm scared that I won't be able to hang in my new role or with the new team and just want to say it doesn't matter how long you've worked, that imposter syndrome happens to almost all of us.

I left to industry and my job is toxic. Would it be bad for me to leave after 4 months? (I already have an offer). Also, would it be THAT bad to not give a two weeks notice? I’m assuming that if I put in notice after 4 months of employment, they’d just ask me to leave. What do you think?

Today my EY application status changed to "we have forwarded your information along for further review." Does this mean I'll be going to the next round of interviews or does this mean they are still reviewing my candidacy? I had my initial screening a couple days ago.
