Not necessarily a site or cert but I've learned so much by having my brokers give preso's on our offerings twice a year. Having them deep dive with myself and others on the HR team / Exec team and for open enrollment has been a huge boon to my knowledge base.

Certified Professional, Life and Health Insurance Program (CPLHI) & Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) are both great certification programs.

This is really helpful. THank you for sharing this

I've also checked out some online courses via Coursera

I would be curious about which courses as well. I have never used Coursera but I have heard good thigns.

Coursera has pretty solid stuff for this

helpful

Which courses?

I honestly learned from on the job and seminars From our brokers and vendors.

100%. When I talk about benefits I break it down to the simplest terms.

I am always asking my manager to allow me to go to conferences and asked to be included more when it came into topics I was new in. And when I said vendor, I mean your account account manager for each vendor.

I have been with my company for almost 8 years. I wasn’t certified when I started but I have been now for about a year. It wasn’t required before. I learned that my coworker who has been with us less than a year and had no prior experience in healthcare makes very close to the same amount I do. My boss says our rates are based on our experience which is clearly not true. One of our none clinical members who left was making the same as me. Does this seem right to you guys?

Is Silver Oak Health a good organization to work? I've recently got my offer letter from them and they executed the same but now they're asking me for my releasing letter or atleast an email from my HoD. In my current organization I'm in my probation period and they don't issue any such documents.
The potential organization will not accept just my resignation email or letter but they want a response from my senior authorities as well. This seems impractical. Please help with how to proceed.

I have a dumb question - I’m new to investing and finances so please be kind. I Just paid off my debt. If I contribute the 20K to a company 401k and my employer match is 50%, does the employer contribution count in the max amount allowed! Meaning will my contributions +the amount my employer matches push me over the allowed amount?

16 weeks and so worried all of the stress I’m under is going to hurt the baby. Between work, my own scary (non-pregnancy) health stuff, the pandemic, my mom (who is a widow and lives alone, basically isolated by choice due to covid) is having health issues, and pressures to keep billable hours up, I’ve been having complete breakdowns. Today I spent almost the entire day crying and now have to make up the billable time this weekend. I really worry abt what effect this will have on the babe.

I was contacted by a recruiter just before I went on maternity leave. We stayed in touch and now, a month into my leave, I am preparing for a first interview at Google for an interaction designer role. First, any tips on how to prepare for this interview? Second, I feel like if I’m doing all this interview/material prep, I should go all in, apply at other big companies and try for multiple offers. Would I be wasting time since I don’t want to cut my leave (goes to July) short?

Hi! I currently have 1 year of experience working as a Recruiter + my 6 month recruitment internship.

I have had the opportunity to work with well-known clients across the Financial Services, Tech and Healthcare industries.

According to my colleagues at other companies, the work I have been doing is very high volume!! However, I am not being compensated as such.

If anyone has any suggestions on companies or agencies that I should look into (paying $60k+) please feel free to comment below.
