Can I still show this new lip gloss I got or nah

Yeah but you (the CDC) lose credibility when you tell everyone masks don’t actually do anything for months and then suddenly do a 180 degree change. So sure yeah whatever I believe everything you say.

But the Constitution specifically says I don’t have to wear one!

seeing how most people wear things like bandanas and t-shirts and not real masks, I don’t buy into the mask thing all. Not to mention most people don’t even wear them properly! People cover their mouths but not their noses or vice versa. So much stupidity. I also heard the saying ‘wearing a cloth mask and thinking it protects you from a virus is like thinking wearing pants prevents people from smelling your fart’. Viruses are so small, a cloth mask doesn’t really do much and hell the CDC even said that a few months ago. 🤦🏻‍♀️

On the contrary I have had this conversation a thousand times already and I will not waste my time further with you. So like I said, pls search for face masks post in this bowl and you should find my response. Bye!

It’s a first amendment issue. You can’t force people to wear masks, even if it’s beneficial for them to do so

25 and Married and currently am saving for a home. Already have ~20K in my personal 401k. Currently contributing 6% because that’s my employer match level. I want to live off my salary and save my wife’s. I think if I stop contributing we can make it work and have my wife go direct deposit to a HYSA. Monthly 401k contr. is ~$400. In addition to her paycheck to saving I want to put $1K in crypto market (DCA $ETH). Is this a solid plan? Want cash for a down payment.

What are the good benefits/perks that google has? My recruiter sent me a link to this page that’s extremely bland and I’m kinda shocked to not see any kind of commuting/ wellness/remote work benefits/stipends. It seems like every company even the nonprofits have these things now so maybe I’m missing something

Last night, I came to a realization. We are not trying to attract top talent because this job never needed top talent. We just need bodies. Now, we aren’t even trying to attract those anymore. It’s time to accept that I’ll never make partner. I’ll never have adequate staff. I’ll never make enough money to own new cars or take my family to Disney world annually. I’ll always have 6 months per year of 80 hour weeks. This is life. I work this hard so my family can have health insurance.

I, a childless woman who does not plan to have kids, am jealous of the parental leave parents get to take from work from choosing to have a child (a big life event). I 100% understand that they are working in a different way by taking care of the baby and being deliriously worn out in the process, but it makes me sort of jealous that unless I have a kid there is no life event that I can take ~3 months away from work to focus on and enjoy, plus have my hours prorated and a job to come back to.
