Is anyone else surprised by the sense of entitlement you see with some of the younger folks/recent grads in tech? One recent example: Our company is offering several generous options as holiday gifts, one of them a new Apple Watch. One employee asked if there was another brand they could have instead. Pre-COVID, someone complained how we didn’t get catered lunch every day, only 3 days a week. In my first job, I was lucky to have a pot of hot coffee. I know, I sound like an old fogey.
