Besides the big four, are there any other good firms that specialize in federal accounting/auditing/federal financial management? I want to leave my current firm and having difficulty finding others.

Has anybody made the switch from strategy to account late in their career? I’m 15 years in and having nightmares about another 40 years of making decks nobody cares about.

I have 6.5 years of experience working with multiple SAP modules and some middleware solutions that talk to ERP. I haven’t found a niche yet..and am a functional resource not a coder. Does PMO have any career growth opportunities or is it a dead end where growth is minimal and you are easily replaceable?

CSX-P - Cybersecurity Practitioner Certifications by ISACA. Any experience or opinions on this certification and can it be done by someone with minimal IT background?? Website is a bit convoluted, but there doesn’t seem to be any prerequisites.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission?
