I teach a self-contained special ed class for grades K-2, mild/moderate. I have a student with extreme behaviors, including destroying the classroom. My walls have been bare for months because he keeps tearing everything off of them. We will have open house in May. How can I "dress up" my room for open house without him destroying it? Should I collect artwork/work samples, and set them aside until the night of open house?

What are your philosophies on budgeting and spending money on fitness hobbies? I think this is one aspect that I underestimated the cost of when moving to NYC. I love figure skating and Pilates, but it can be over $30/session for rink/studio access and over $100 per lesson with an instructor.

How do I go about pivoting from customer facing roles to internal roles? My company is too small (health tech). I am burned out on executive relationships, customer facing demands, etc. I really enjoy program management type work. I do not like managing people. Would Chief of Staff be an option? Had I stayed at my previous firm I probably could have gone internal but going back in an internal role is not an option.
