I requested a salary adjustment based on my responsibilities as a UXR. I’ve been in the role for nearly 2y and finally heard back about my salary adjustment.

I was expecting a 24% increase as I was severely underpaid but received an 18% increase. I realize this is still a great bump and I’m grateful for it but I also want to be paid fairly.

Is it worth trying to secure the difference? I’m also actively interviewing and applying at other companies.

Giving notice next week to someone who went out of her way to recruit and hire me away from my old firm and has been really good to me. She worked for over a year to get me to come over. Now after only 6 months I’m going back to my old firm but in a different (better) group than I was in before. I am dreading the convo and feeling guilty but need to get over it. Process at tiny agencies

Anyone have experience working at a creative shop with no account team? My agency does design, brand and websites so it’s just designers, two devs & a writer (me). I come from a slightly larger, more conventional agency so the lack of structure here confounds me.

For example: we don’t do creative briefs at all. Been here for 1.5 years and things are coming to a head for me. Frustrated with our unclear processes, and I’m not making good work. Do I just need to reframe?
