Second EY1 plus:
Daikaya 2nd floor (tapas style Japanese dishes)
Toki Underground - ramen on H St
Panda Gourmet - Szechuan (NE DC, near Arboretum, highly recommend that also)
Pho 75 - Arlington
Natta Thai - Vienna
Hong Kong Pearl (dim sum)
Joe's Noodle House (Szechuan/Chinese - Rockville but worth it)
Yong Kang Street (Taiwanese - Pentagon City Mall)
Daikaya (Ramen - Chinatown)
Uh go for it if you want, but there generally seems to be a general understanding/distinction between Indian food and “Asian food” even though they share the same continent. Methinks you are trying to stir da pot.
Da Rae Won (jjajangmyun) in MD is so far but so good. Tiger Fork, and Daikaya second floor for more expensive eats. Reren for medium price eats. Pho75 and Donburi for cheap eats
I’m up in MoCo and we have some good Chinese places up here. With Covid, some have been making food you can take home and cook- like XLB or char sui bao.

I was on a project in DC for a year and this list brought back memories. I vaguely remember the ramen at Daikaya and it wasn't that good.

Just posted something to this group about this! TL;DR I just created a Facebook group to maybe get a group together. Here’s the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/652560918749383/
Why do we not recommend Indian/middle-eastern restaurants when we say asian?

Tangent: How’s Annandale these days? Moved out of the DC area about 5 years ago, but I used to head out there for Korean food
Annandale is still killing it for food.
Good little Indian take in Arlington is masala express. It looks like nothing but it’s great and the family who runs it is great.
For Indian food in Northern VA: IndAroma in Annandale IndoChen (formerly London Curry House) in Alexandria Curry Mantra in Fairfax Aditi in Kingstowne
Indique brunch is the best deal in the city

Not eating indoors anywhere due to Covid. I can take theirs out and steam at home 😊
Has anyone actually enjoyed tiger fork or queen’s English? Because honestly they hurt the most. Had high hopes but was dashed. They’re really just ok.
Well, now you’ve lowered my expectations so perhaps time to try them...
