Has any of you working under H1B recently transferred your H1B to some other employers? Would much appreciate if you could share your experience. (Overall timeline, difficulties etc.)
Anyone know what the work culture and pay range is for experienced engagement managers at Bain India?
Interview in person with Deloitte for M&A group next week. Ops side. Any advice? Tips? Thanks
had a total brain fart, thought a phone interview was at 2:30 instead of 2pm, so I was 20 min late to the call. I feel like I still had a nice chat and want to send a quick thank you note...
At my new job, we’re told to get 8 billable hours of work a day on our timesheet. Even when I thought I had a lot to work on, the most I could get was 5 hours. I’m super stressed about getting in trouble, even though I have actively asked for more work. I was unemployed for 9 months during this pandemic and I now I’m super afraid of losing my job again. Is this a normal practice? Idk how I’ll ever consistently have that much work.
I wish this bowl were more active. We have a great community here in Detroit. Let’s communicate with each other more often. Maybe we can help each other out?
Have a consulting offer at MBB in NYC...convince me to stick with ibanking...

For those who have ups and downs when weighing yourself, I highly recommend you stop referencing body weight, and use body fat percentage instead. I’m 31, 5 feet tall and 130 lbs. If I used weight/BMI as my “health” meter, I’m considered obese. However, I’m also 19% body fat and in the best shape I’ve ever been. I don’t ever weigh myself for that reason & don’t own a scale. Point here is to reference your measurements, how you feel/energy levels, & don’t get yourself down if you fluctuate weight
Can't participate in IMPACT day due to last minute, high profile client deliverable due COB. Found out about it yesterday at noon. This project is going to be the death of me 😥

Anyone has experience with Mercedes dealership service? Got scratches on back bumper when car got rear ended and the other persons insurance would pay for it. Does the dealership give a loaner while they fix and do they bill insurance directly?
Anything good to do in SF? Going for a training this week and haven’t been since I was a kid.

Interested in comp spread for MD consulting across the Big4. I assume it’s quite broad but would love a gut check.
Can I do an internal rotation in HR/Marketing while my h1b is being transferred to a future employer? My designation / salary may change.
Due to WFH, I’ve spent a lot more time with my girlfriend of nearly two years. While we lived apart before, we practically live together now. We get along well as partners, I care for her deeply and enjoy having her as a companion, but I do not feel the same physical attraction and we aren’t physically intimate nearly as often as when we lived apart. Has anyone found that the “romantic” part of their relationship has all but died? Is this normal, or a sign it’s not meant to be?
Is there a salary minimum for managers at Accenture?
Any thought on exits to Rogers? I always get a ton of messages, but comp seems low and not sure of culture and growth at a company like Rogers
