When do you bring up salary discussions in the interview process? First round? Second round? I’m curious to know everyone’s opinions.
For those who work in pricing/product strategy for large asset managers - specifically, what does the work entail? I’m interviewing with Blackrock and am not sure what to expect. I assume lots of analysis/benchmarking on fee structure, what else?

Wife got lawyer, and I am interviewing lawyers starting tomorrow. I am primary breadwinner (95%), but she is citing at-fault divorce. Any pointers? No kids. Married for 3 years. I paid her student loans and put her through school.

I work very closely with AWS proserv folks.. I have gotten numerous offers from them for a referral to AWS. However I noticed they all seem to have 10+ years of relevant experience and I do not (1 year relevant). As the door is open with them, I do not want to waste this opportunity. However it seems I should wait and get more exp before applying. Thoughts?

Is consulting as advertised when it comes to career acceleration? Personally, I am starting to doubt it. It feels like the skill sets are a bit dated and the world has moved on. Also, we get put on so many random engagements it’s hard to build tangible skills. I am talking big 4, MBB is a different game.
About to start my first PM job after consulting. Any tips to get myself prepared and ramp up quickly? Books to read, courses to take, etc.? Currently doing ops consulting, no tech background.

I have some interviews for product management roles at some Series C/D companies. I have a feeling I'll get at least one offer. Totally new to the start up game but given that these are both well onto the road to IPO (according to them) can I have them give me a breakdown of equity, strike price, outstanding shares etc? One is a PMM role too. 31, female in Boston if location maters at all when considering any of the above.

I just don’t understand the hype around getting an MBA. Unless someone is going to pay for it, is the pay bump really worth the debt?
Got a screener with a recruiting person. What are some of the differences in the approach to the interview as opposed to having a screener with an attorney? Do I basically treat the interview the same way? Are there any specific questions that I should ask in this type of interview? Any input and anecdotes are appreciated!
South Asian ladies - how do you handle the marriage conversations with your parents? Every time I visit my parents, this is all they talk about. It got to a point where I stopped coming home. I know avoiding them isn’t the healthiest way to handle it. For context, I’m 34 and been living on my own since college. I’m born and raised in the US, and don’t find guys in my culture attractive. My parents aren’t being open minded of inter-racial dating / marriage. I’m starting to feel hopeless 😞
