Not bourbon, but delicious

Basil Hayden is my go-to. For less than $40 it’s hard to beat

like

Under 100 but a good range of price points:
EH Taylor Small Batch
Eagle Rare
Bookers
Blantons
Angel’s Envy
Weller Special Reserve
Weller Antique 107
Noah’s Mill
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
McKenna
Michter’s Single Barrel

My personal favorite is more like 150 but Old Fitzgerald 15 year if you can get your hands on it

like

I didn’t really like Noah’s - but I’d agree with the rest on this list. Basically any “relative” to Blantons works.

Ok but Four Roses is solid

Pappy is a bit over hyped. In fact, I don’t love it. If you ask smaller or independent shops - you might find a pappy for 400 or so. But, There are plenty of bourbons out there for significantly less that I like just as much if not more. I’m not a scotch guy, and find my tastes pretty much like anything from the buffalo trace distillery. My personal go to is eagle rare and Blantons. But both have become hard to find. McKenna is a good alternative but he also become very popular (aka - hard to find). Everyone has Woodford and it’s a good price point. It’s my backup goto when bars are sold out of my usual favorites.

like

Weller or Stagg Jr if I’m buying. Pappy if Partner/MD is buying

like

Wild Turkey 101 is my daily driver (... that doesn’t sound right.)

Balvenie (scotch not bourbon) is really growing on me

I’m a data analyst in the data and analytics department at my company but I don’t use SQL/Python nor do I use data visualization tools. I’ve been taking SQL and Tableau courses on DataCamp but I don’t think I’m retaining much.

Tbh I feel very lost. Should I talk to my manager about this or should I just continue learning on the side? Any advice on how to actually retain the info?

I just find it weird how my title is a data analyst yet I don’t code/use data visualization tools. Help :/

Hi Fishes,

I am currently working as an Analyst in HCL Technologies BSERV which is considered as a BPO. I received a promotion to a new job post Sr. Associate-WPC. Is this new position also a part of BPO or does it come under IT or Technical Department? Also currently there is no hike being provided even though the band has changed from 0.3 to 1.1, can I expect a hike once the yearly cycle is completed?
