I'll respond if you tell me how you're getting 50% returns - funds, equities, etc. 50% rtns? Those are Bernie Madoff numbers...

I’m going to make a wager and say that this story won’t have a happy ending

You are silly if you think you'll be making 50% returns for long

If you’re making these massive returns, can’t you take some of your gains and pay loans down sooner?

So it’s actually a lot of info to post my entire strategy in detail here but basically I’m swing trading options/equities and have been consistent for the past 7 months. I’m confident I can make more if i had the ability to sit in front of the computer, watch the markets, and have think or swim in front of me but of course client work gets in the way. After looking at my trades I’d say about 65% of them have been long and 35% have been short. My win ratio is approximately 30% but the winners more than make up for the losers and if you’ve traded options you know how that works. Noticing that I’ve increased the amount of short positions recently and I’m confident August will be bearish, October neutral, and then in November things will pick up again with a 10-20% correction happening next year either end of 1st quarter or beginning of 2nd quarter. Seriously considering quitting to do this full-time as I probably have enough to live off of for 2-4 years depending on if I decide to live frugally or maintain the lifestyle I have now which is borderline excessive.

BC1 - I’ve considered that and it would make sense if my interest was exorbitant and I wasn’t able to use the cash to generate higher returns. I have 50k left on my loans which has interest of 5.8% which adds up to about 2900 a yr and compounded the next yr will be around 3068 and so on. I’m making well over that in the markets on the principal and my returns will continue to be way higher if I keep my money in the markets. Less capital = smaller returns

Answer the question, people. Enough with the negativity. OP I have heard Sofi is good for reduced interest rates

like

SoFi is good, and if your primary goal is to reduce monthly pmts (vs. interest) that’s easy with a longer term refinance.

Sofi has tough requirements I believe

CommonBond. They've been great.

Monthly payment is $400 a month but I’d like to get it down to 100-200. I’ve been making returns of around 50% in the market. I’ve already gotten a quote from Earnest and Credible and it barely lowered my interest rate, maybe to 5.3% and I had to make higher monthly payments

Op can’t beat the market

I didn’t come here to brag about my strategy. I was simply looking for help on refinancing because I’ve looked at numerous companies without finding anything better and I just tried strategy&s reco up there and same ordeal even with the 20 options it gave me. I honestly don’t care if you guys believe me or not. I’m not one of those guys that gets hard from bragging to a bunch of anonymous strangers on some forum because i really don’t get anything in return. Yes most people lose money in the markets and I lost a shitton when I was younger but discipline and money management is what sets people apart. It’s simple really but most people can’t control their emotions, myself included but lately I’ve been much better at it.

I want to say I’ve actually tried sofi as well. I’ll try again but I’m 90% sure

Step 1: Get a quick quote from all the lenders in the link above (won't result in a hard pull on your credit, just a soft pull which doesn't affect credit score)
Step 2: Compare your offers (interest rates vs. how long the loan terms are)
Step 3: Complete full application for the lender giving you the best rate at the loan term you want

Hmm common bond had decent rates but it wouldn’t give me the monthly payment amt even after picking the 20 yr option

For any real estate investors

22 years old and currently focused on using my left over income to invest and pay off my debt. I am set to pay off my college loans by next year and, when I do, I want to look into investing into real estate. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get into/learn more about real estate investing? Or how I can have enough knowledge on the topic to be able to invest wisely when the time comes?

Any books? youtubers? etc. How did you all learn about it?
