Does every award-winning CD on LinkedIn think their client is brave or are they just throwing shade at the ones that won’t buy the work?
How transparent can you really get with your team? I am actively looking for roles at other companies including competitors, but at the same time the team needs to know whether I’ll be on the project til next year or not. I’ve been transparent with them about my interest and wanting to look for other things. And don’t want to keep them completely out of the loop which will impact them but also worried if i tell them I’m looking for roles at other companies, they won’t be pleased/let me go
Signed a freelance contract, but work is ‘paused’ due to vendor sourcing. Most days i don’t do anything job-related. Should I still bill the agency for the hours they’re wasting with me? Or do I only bill for the hours I’m working on the actual project?
I was in a meeting with my boss and account team discussing an overage on a project. We were looking at everyone’s hours, and our UX lead (a woman) had doubled her effort. The work was necessary...

I’m thinking of quitting breastfeeding. My baby is 5 months old, and my pump just broke, and I don’t think she’s eating enough and she wakes up all the time at night hungry. I’m just tired of it. I’d rather just give her bottles and call it a day. Ready for my husband to take the night feeds, ready to be able to have a drink without worrying about when I have to feed the baby. The actual breastfeeding has been easy, which is why I feel guilty for “quitting.”
