Is it normal to get ghosted by an ECD after they show interest in hiring you? Chatted over Zoom with an NYC ECD earlier this year. They told me to get in touch with them in August about meeting in person. I did what they said. I've emailed once a week since the start of August, but have heard nothing. I understand that ECDs are busy, but I wonder if I should give up.

Has anyone successfully negotiated a higher job level with Salesforce? The job posting was for a Manager level position, but I'd like to negotiate for a Senior Manager level instead. Can you negotiate the job level change and/or salary increase at the 6-month mark?

For IP Litigation folks in life sciences/pharma - what are the likely exit options? The boutique patent lit firms don’t seem to have a lighter workload and it seems like most in house positions require tech transaction and patent persecution experience, which is not easy to get while in big law (since different groups). I am a junior associate and any advice is appreciated.

I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?

I am a senior (and CPA) at a larger regional firm (we have around 1,000 employees) I want to leave public accounting but am not sure what the other options are for me. I try looking into it online but google just lists a bunch of generic positions that doesn’t really help. In my current position I do a mix of A&A (Reviews and Comps) and the tax returns. Any thoughts on good positions outside of public? p.s I also have some banking experience from when I was in college to (commerce credit)

How do you normally deal with arguments in your relationship? My boyfriend results to the “silent treatment” whenever we get into it. I’m the type to deal with the problem right away and quickly move on, but he will go days without speaking to me, even ignoring my calls / messages.
