How many of you corporate America moms looooove your jobs vs view them as a necessity to fund what you like and enjoy? Heading back to work after maternity-2 and can’t seem to get myself excited about it. So I have been offered a job at multinational company as a Data Engg. It was a part of the hiring event, and literally got selected with a VERY VERY SIMPLE technical assessment, and a 45 minute interview.

The pay should within my expectations, but I am unsure about the company and the team.

Just that the process was way too easy so quick. I do not even know the hiring manager.

Advice Please
It's been 4month with the team with no manager. I recently joined the organization and the team I am part of is headed by a lead and one analyst.
So being a new member as Sr.Data Analyst I sometimes have to report to analyst. Considering the fact that he has been part of the team for past 1 year and sometimes he sounds like lead as he is leading some project.
On other hand my manager is continuously asking me take lead in project and try to reduce dependency on that analyst.

pre pandemic, I was tasked with supporting as a single role

now I'm tasked with supporting 2-4 different roles at any time.

No bonus, no raise, 2% COLA after 2 years. The raise only happened after asking and stating the facts stated above.

What should my next steps be?
