If you signed with any of the accounting firms, most of them will offer to pay for the material. Would check with the employer

My two cents. My professor would sometimes play roger videos and I didn’t like how he explained stuff. He definitely has energy but his handwriting is so ugly I couldn’t digest the content and his thought process was, for me, scattered.

Whichever one your firm offers, but Becker is the most comprehensive and has the highest pass rate. I'm all for saving money, but exam fees add up if you dont pass so might be worth the investment

Thank you! I’d rather get the best of the best and pay for it.

Ninja mcq is the best for the price. I bought ninja to supplement Becker. I only studied with mcq though no lectures or books /anything else.

Becker. I did supplement Ninja with becker for FAR

100% Becker!

I used Becker and supplemented with Roger CPA’s audio course. Roger is a lot more fun than Becker, but Becker is pretty much the gold standard.

I agree with others that recommend Becker. Maybe you could borrow someone login.

I used Wiley/CPA excel (passed in 2015). It was like 1/3 the cost of Becker.

Also ninja notes are so underrated. Look into them (a friend and I split the cost).

Good luck!

I had roger for far and Becker for the others. I supplemented mcq with ninja for all of them. Considering pricing I would get roger and supplement mcq with ninja. The best thing about Becker is the quality of mcq (much harder than roger) but the ninja mcq are on par with Becker. I had no issues with far using roger and ninja. You can use roger as a general review then focus additional mcq using ninja. If you learn best by reading I would consider ninja only as they have their own e-book that you get with the subscription

Roger

Becker

Becker. I used roger first and realized it wasn’t detailed enough. Then I got becker through my firm and nailed every test on the first try. Only one I “failed” with a 74 was with roger. With becker I was scoring mid to high 80s

Roger Roger Roger!! Well depending on your learning style I used becker and Roger and would choose Roger or Becker

I used Becker many years ago - they offered discounts if you had high grades and were going to work / working in public accounting. They didn’t advertise this, had to call and ask.

Hoping for some advice on how to properly leverage another job offer to help make another company pull the trigger on you. I’ll explain: I’ve been interviewing with Company A for a month now and have met with GC, CFO, creatives, and today the final round with HR and CEO. I have a good feeling they will extend an offer but it’s not a slam dunk. I think I’m top 2. Company B has extended an offer but one that I’m not really considering (moving to a new city/not enough money). Do I mention this....

I'm the only employee with a background in finance in a tech startup growing at a 300%+ per year. But it's actually my first finance-related experience (interned and now part-time as I'm in my senior year of undergrad) and don't know really how to have an impact as my knowledge is "limited" and have no technical mentorship.

Any advice/mentorship would be wonderful!

Hi everyone,

I appeared in L2 round of Capgemini recently.
Just after the intro first question they asked me " Do you have any offer and amount?" This question was asked in technical round.
I'm sure that guy wasn't a Manager.

I don't think he know how to take an interview.

Even after creating 2 asked program and answering 80% of their questions correctly.
Got rejected.
Didn't expect this kind of L2 round from Capgemini.

Do you record your unbillable time? I have had conflicting responses. I have been told it's not good for efficiency calculations but others have told me if your still doing work let people know. For example, I get weird international stuff sometimes that not everyone gets (I think maybe? ) and I need to reread the 5471 rules or 8865 rules as I do the returns. I have been told not to bill for this but if I didn't have to spend time to do such things my billable hours would be higher
