We’ve been using the echo show, bought it on sale for $150 and worth it IMO. Having a shared calendar that everyone can look at in the kitchen is great, we can pull up cameras in the kids’ rooms to keep an eye on during naps, plus all the other Alexa functionality is nice - to do / shopping lists, music, smart home controls, photo album, etc. Love the bigger screen!
Pro
Could you show us what the calendar looks like for you all? That would be the biggest thing - actually being able to remember pajama day etc

And do any of these work with the Nanit? Thank you!

Here’s a pretty decent comparison article. With the echo you can link multiple calendars to Google and the calendar display is pretty simplistic, only as organized as you have stuff entered into it. If you have older kids I believe you can set up individual profiles so if you ask Alexa about your day it could say just that kid’s events based on the underlying default calendar. We are more integrated into the Amazon ecosystem these days
* Amazon has a skill you can enable for the Nanit so I assume that means you can show the camera on there. I don’t have it, but use the lollipops for my kids rooms and Arlo for outside home cameras and those work with Alexa also
