Best way to interactively learn python, ML etc. is on Kaggle. Is all free and you don‘t even need to install anything on your machine.
DataCamp for basics, then analyses on Kaggle for fun practice and/or build something cool with your new toolkit. When you practice, build things as well as possible. That way you keep on learning. If you want to go beyond just picking up the language but instead are curious about coding for software, get involve in a mid size open source project.
Not free, but most of the O'Reilly books are great. You can find free PDF versions of most of them online. Data Science From Scratch, Intro to ML, Python for Data Analysis are all great titles.
I second this. Also company had O'Reilly member subscription and it was great
Stack overflow and python 🐍
Deloitte should have a corporate udemy account. You can find courses on there.
Can anyone recommend more specific courses/materials? Stack overflow is very broad and it’s self guided which is daunting when you don’t know where to start. Udemy has a bunch of courses (as does coursera, data camp, etc)
Stack overflow isn't going to help you be a better programmer. It will be supplemental documentation for existing documentation. What city are you located? There's probably a Python user group on Meetup that can hook you up.
Best way to learn programming is get off the computer and talk to people already doing it.
If they do good work, they talk to good programmers.

Definitely do an intro in Udemy, datacamp etc. Then I'd say take an actual piece of analysis and attempt on your own - Googling where you get stuck. Then, do more courses. I find just doing courses fail to give proper context.
