Looking at merging with another firm in NY. My practice in my current small firm has been mainly with clients in NJ which I doubt will travel to NY. Firm in NY is now saying we will pay some of your costs for your Jersey office (50 percent of cost) and then after 2 years wants me in the NY firm every day. Is that normal and there package will pay me about the same but I get rid of my administration which I handle for the firm and can be a lot of work. Thoughts on pay and rent cost?

I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card already but looking to get another cc. Thinking about the AmEx gold or platinum but not sure I can justify the high fee for platinum. Also open to other cards as well. I don’t travel for work so not flying consistently but do like to do a few big trips a year. Any tips are appreciated!

My company switched to WFH/ hybrid permanently which enabled employees to relocate to their dream state as a personal choice & still work for the company. The only requirement is that they return in person 4x a year at their own expense. All other work related travel expenses other than these 4 in person meetings are covered by the company. It was known before accepting the WFH option/ moving.

Some employees are finding this unfair/ unreasonable, company should pay. What are your thoughts?
