Difference of thinking between HR and Employee. HR thinks why to retain existimg emplooyee with 70% hike if i get new resource in 30 % addtional cost d and employee thinks why to loose 40% if current company gives you 30 % and switching give u 70 % fact : when an employee leaves ,by seeing that employe his project members started job searching and started leaving within a year eventually hr losses for per candidate 30% . i saw it in all companies. so retain employees even with 70%

Senior up for promo to manager in audit in next year. Have decided I do not want to be an auditor. Which of these paths do you think is best? 1. Stay 1 more year, exit to industry with manager title. 2. Move to advisory internally, but most likely would have to do one more year in audit and move as audit manager to advisory sr 3. Exit immediately into industry to try for accounting manager title / senior accountant or sr fin analyst 4. Exit immediately to advisory senior at another big 4 firm

I am considering switching practice areas. I currently practice in personal injury litigation on the defense side. I have been in the PI practice in some way, shape or form for the last 9 years. However, I think it’s time for a change for me. I have always found trust and estate work to be interesting and would like to transition into that area of practice, on both the litigation and planning end of it. I am looking for guidance as to how to switch over. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Got an offer from EY India in Tech Consulting. Need to choose between Gurgaon GVT and Bangalore. Which one to go for? PS: I'm from North, considering Bangalore ONLY for the weather (it's too hot here!)
Is McKinsey the only one of the MBB’s that has a direct BA to EM path? For example does BCG have AO direct to Project Lead? If not, doesn’t McKinsey have an advantage for faster career progression?
