Best investment accounts if my firm doesn’t offer a 401K and I make too much to have a Roth IRA?

Backdoor Roth, which is traditional IRA to Roth IRA conversions. Same result as direct Roth IRA conversions, but they make you go through the "backdoor".

If you have access to an HSA, use that as a retirement vehicle, not to cover medical expenses now. Invest the money and let it grow. You'll have plenty use for it in your 60s.

Can also look into opening a brokerage fund, which would be taxable. No limits there, but you're putting in after-tax money, and will be taxed on the gains.

like

Be careful with back door Roth due to “pro rata “ rule if you already have rolled over IRA as then you would incur taxes on withdrawals from traditional to Roth conversion .

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I'm a $70M fee-only (commissions for insurance) independent RIA with a generous comp schedule that enables FAs to own their own book while they grow. As the owner, my focus is to help FAs succeed; as a firm, our focus is on client service and helping them succeed. I can afford a small salary, but not benefits. I'm especially interested in female FAs.

Hey fishes, would be joining PwC AC DDVIT team in some time. I have some questions:

1. Is the PwC AC DDVIT team same as Strategy& or these two operate differently?
2. How is the overall worklife balance for PwC DDVIT team?
3. What are some some good benefits in PwC AC (monetary/non-monetary)
4. How much time does an associate 2 take to get promoted to senior associate?
5. Are there on-site traveling opportunities? And is it only to US or European countries as well?

Thanks!

Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

So much potential to do great work, but nothing I would show or be proud of. I did better work as a consultant.
