If I was a junior on a team during a campaign launch, is that something I can put in my book? I helped during the concepting phase, was responsible for keeping the boards up to date, and wrote a lot of the supporting materials (print, social etc) but obviously I was not on the shoot or the lead on writing the script. As long as I’m clear about my role is that acceptable?

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Anyone have any professional development/leadership books they’d recommend? Doesn’t have to be lawyer or in-house related specifically, just something you found helpful. I just finished Deep Work and found some aspects helpful, but others not applicable to in-house counsel life.

Took an in-house job within the past year for a brand that no one will be able to afford during a recession. Been in advertising 8 years and never been laid off or fired. I am terrified.

I love to cook. I am trying to find a happy medium between one off beginner cooking classes and culinary school. The perfect scenario would be a multi week class that goes over advanced cooking techniques. Like stuff you may learn in culinary school but for people who just want to learn as a hobby. Any ideas?

Even better, I didn't hear them right away and a coworker had to let me know they were there via chat. Turned around and my kid looked like a soldier in army paint. I live in a house with roommates and one roommate wakes me up every time she leaves for work simply because her door is loud. Any idea what home improvement solutions would make sense to block the noise?

I put some cushioned draft stoppers under the doors and that's helped a bit, but I'm looking for more. I'm not sure what exactly works best for low frequencies like doors closing. Some $12/12 pack foam acoustic panels look promising, as does a $100 sound damper curtain...
