Used to travel weekly and now wfh like most people. As I’m at home I am more involved with the kids, sharing school drop offs and having to attend their events as my SO also has a busy job. Luckily been on a reasonable project in terms of hours but feels like a stressful project wouldn’t support this. Anyone understand where I’m coming from or been on a high burn project and wfh since the pandemic?

I just got my 4th credit hit in medical bills debt collection. The bills are so tiny. Why can’t health care providers take my credit card and auto charge me. I don’t have the cycles to circle back with you dudes. Does not vibe with my current burnout state.

Call me a disgruntled employee, but I have seen a sudden decline in the kind of talent Novartis is getting or has been able to retain. The kind of people I see in Novartis or people reaching out to me for a referral over all the digital platforms are for all the wrong reasons. The first question I get asked is "is it a hectic job?" Or "Do we get a good WLB?". And I see this translate into the kind of work some of my colleagues do too. And I see same callous attitude in many of my colleagues.
