Carlo IV has a great pool/spa to relax in after a long day at work or doing tourist things.
Yeah it looks awesome! Sounds like there’s not a bad choice here and so trying to use convenience of walking to tourist things as deciding factor now
Both are great. However I would go for Augustine. The location is waaay better. Carlo IV is right next to train station park where crackheads and homeless guys chill and do stuff.
Carlo IV is nice but the air conditioning is basically non existent. Gorgeous hotel though
Carlo IV is amazing. One of the nicer hotels I’ve ever stayed at and well located in the city.
sorry wrong bowl, doesn’t let me delete!
Somehow I missed that. Oops. Plz fix
I’ve stayed in both for several months- the Augustine wins hands down. Carlo IV is decent, but the rooms are a bit outdated and are oddly decorated in my opinion. The Augustine is a notch above in all aspects- food, service, hotel design etc.
Yes- you’re less than a 4 minute walk to Charles Bridge and a straight path into old town. Prague is small, I think I’ve walked it all 4 times over and find the castle side of the bridge nicer.
Marriott old town is nice - great lounge and centrally located - Carlos V is also nice - fun fact was in the latest Spider-Man movie - great bar in the corner - Augustine is superb - old monastery, fabulous cellar bar and rooms are eclectic —- either one would be awesome
