Hi all, I am looking for some guidance to break into BCG Design department. They have numerous clients, so talking about a particularly client or project will be difficult. But going by the general rule of thumb, would love someone from BCG to layout what this company actually looking for in a Product designer to hire. BCG Digital Ventures

You don’t need a masters to get into IB, save your time and $. You can break-in at anytime, they’re always looking to hire monkeys at all levels. Same for PE - they’ll take on IB candidates anytime.
Make sure your experience is relevant to IB role when you apply. If you’re in tech consulting, apply for tech-related IB etc.
Okay, I’ll keep that in mind. Thank you!
I would try networking first if any alumni have gotten into ib, and regional boutiques are always an option to at least get some experience and then transition to a BB/EB. If you’re set on a degree, I think they’d probably prioritize an mba over a masters but I’m not 100% sure
Yea I may consider going to a regional boutique but I think at 1 YOE it might make more sense to do a masters and then go to INSEAD or some other similar program and then try to recruit for IB
Just broke into banking from MC. If your goal is an EB or BB then a top MBA is your best bet. The process is grueling and I got in via networking, top-20 undergrad and a good story of why I want a career in banking.
I want to break in at the analyst level because that’s where PE recruiting happens
Hey OP, my bank is hiring if you're in NYC. Feel free to DM if you're interested, came from consulting too so I feel you
Hello!
My wife is on STEM-OPT and her 90 days of unemployment is coming to an end. She graduated from NYU and is looking for roles associate with financial analyst. She did her certification like Bloomberg Market Concept and Financial Modeling.
Can anyone refer her to any bank where there is work related to investment banking or as financial analyst?
Thank you!
