Best MBA program for engineers with low GPA ?

I signed up for the SHRM CP exam. Anyone have fairly recent materials they’d be open to selling or sharing? Would love to not pay 700-1000 on access to the learning portal or a class. With my masters, I can’t get EY to cover the certification but it’s something I wanted to do this year.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a career swap from finance to program management? I have 7+ years of FP&A experience, with a couple years of indirect program management. Also have my MBA in finance and undergrad in economics

Just graduated law school with honors but don’t have a job lined up. I’m thinking about just going solo and starting my own firm after taking the bar in Sept. Finances are not a problem. Planning to practice IP transactions/prosecution/litigation. I have work exp/clerk/extern but no associate exp. This climate is crazy and I think I can grab a lot of smaller work myself through my own networks and be my own boss. Also currently grabbing an mba part time. Thoughts? Advice?

Why I love being in industry: I presented a deck and I misspelled "EBITDA" in the exec summary while presenting to the exec team. No one noticed. No one called me out. No one gave me a nasty glance. No one sent a "pls call my mobile" text after. No email with some stuff about "not meeting expectations" or "how could you let this happen in your role". After the wave of panic, I remembered that I'm in industry now. I make more money, work less hours, work with great people, I'm happy.

I am thinking to up my skills in threat hunting. Any study materials, training course and certification program you’d recommend?

Got PwC Associate position in MC. They offered 20fixed + upto 20%variable (after a lot of negotiations). I think they lowballed me. 🥺 I was Sr. associate in previous organisation. (Ctc 15+) Background: Old IIM MBA Work ex: Total 4+ years. ( 2+ post mba, 2 pre mba) I am not able to justify the designation to myself. If my goal isn’t MBB/IB/PE does it matter if I go to a t50 school instead of a m7/t15? I’m not chasing prestige, just want to have the MBA for networking and “checking the box” for future opportunities.

My boyfriend of 3+ yrs and I are applying to bschool together and we’re worried about doing long distance. He wants me to go to Wharton w/him rather than go to HBS. My post mba career goal currently is a PM in a big tech company, but it could change (though likely not going into VC or finance/consulting). Part of me really would still like to go to HBS due to the higher brand name, but I understand that both schools most likely will get me to my short term goals. Should I forgo HBS to be w/him?

I have an MBA Summer Internship with mbb in Chicago. However my fiancé, who lives in Chicago, just received a job offer in nyc. How hard would it be to switch from Chicago to NYC office for either internship or full time?

Worth spending $100s on certifications? In a bind where a lot of jobs I want require like SFDC/Marketo experience (which I have a little of each of) but feel like a cert may supersede having the YOE required? Thoughts?

Wondering where I should focus us as a services industry for big impact: we have a large product innovation, digital engineering area, and know in the past we've had a lot of lip service to clients and only recorded ESG for their compliance. Hoping to make a big difference and include CSR/Sust audits and projects beyond for our clients! Any tips?
