Best ML classes / courses? Don't wanna be an engineer, just a PM on an ML product.
Have past experience as a PM on ML (Fraud Analytics), but want to get back to it and preferably something tangible like Autonomous (cars, trucks, etc) or Healthcare (imaging, prediction).
The majority of my work experience is in Data Integration, IPAAS, Tech Strategy and Consulting.

I’d recommend UC Berkeley’s CS188 http://ai.berkeley.edu/home.html. It lays a pretty good foundation for AI understanding though there is a lot of math as well. The projects are fun and do a great job of applying theory. I took this course while at Cal so I’m not sure what it’ll be like self-paced.

Side question:
Did you have any AI/ML experience prior to your Fraud role? I’m in the reverse situation, I have recent AI engineering coursework (as mentioned above) and I’m really interested in working on an ML product.

What’s important for a PM to know in your experience? Most roles I see seem to want a former ML engineer or data scientist. I’ve created models, applied AI to games, done some side projects.

Tips for 6-month eval? Originally hired at 35K as assistant and was told if I performed well, I could expect to make 50K after a year. After one week, the operations manager resigned and I took over as a trial. Officially am operations manager, but no title (only verbal) and no raise. Owner likes benefits over big pay raises. Thinking about asking for 46K, new cellphone and official title change. I'm expecting some negotiating, which I've never done. 24F, AA Bus Admin, and overall good employee

I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. I know it will initially be a step back in comp but is it at all realistic for a person with certificate level experience in data analysis but a decent marketing management background to expect $150-200k comp or is that mostly for degreed candidates (or not realistic at all)? Any guidance here is greatly appreciated.

Boston SFA 5 years exp (Corporate finance). My research shows 110-120k for comp range. Does that sound right to others here?

I've been at my current company for 15 years and 17 in the insurance industry. I'm struggling to even get a callback to interview. In a year, I've had one callback. I've sought out input on my resume from folks at the Executive level and there aren't any red flags. Am I just too entrenched and the long tenure scares employers or what?
