Hi all,
I've 3+ years of experience in IT. Works as BI Analyst. Have around 6.22LPA as base salary and around 7.22LPA as CTC. Can you please suggest how much hike should I ask for so that figure will not sound irrelevant? I'm thinking of 11+ but have also seen people having 5.8LPA getting 11+ in DI. Will it be appropriate if I ask for 12+ in first shot? Deloitte India
I am new to this. Just checking it out.
Any illustrators here with a rep??

I’d argue that by definition, you need more than one to be a collection.
But if I had to go only one watch for the rest of time, I’d go Moonwatch. Classic, not outrageously priced, can be dressed up or down. One of the most versatile watches in the price range without being flashy.

IMO, I’d want a one-watch collection to be pretty versatile - decent WR, able to work with a t shirt or a suit. For me, that means a sports watch on a bracelet. Obviously there’s no best watch so here are some to consider:
- Rolex 16570 or 16600 (used - discontinued)
- Rolex Explorer 124270
- Omega Aqua Terra
- Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscape 43mm
- Omega Seamaster 300 (not 300M)
- GO SeaQ (43 if you can pull off the size, 40 if not)
- Zenith Defy Skyline
- Cartier Santos Medium
- Omega Globemaster
- JLC Polaris or Polaris Date
No unfortunately not

I mean it’s got the same rating as a longines (5 stars) and real abalone on the dial. It might also be the same watch Russell Crowe wore in gladiator

I have a few, but putting aside sentimental value, the Explorer 1 can go anywhere. Goes great with a suit and a swimsuit. By far my most versatile.

OP - out of budget since it’s discontinued but hard to go wrong with the black bezel GMT

Love that story of the professional diver who does most of her dives wearing a datejust.
