Have a semi unique situation that I’d like some takes on. Have 10+ years of post undergrad work experience… Needed to switch careers so went back to school, and got my MBA and then immediately got a job as a tech consultant - associate level. Now I’m being courted by the Big 4. While I’m only 2yrs into consulting I’m not the average sr consultant because of my years of other work experience and MBA. Around what salary range should I be looking at with this background?

I’m from Java Development background and have over 10y of experience. I want to switch my career to InfoSec or Cybersecurity. Already have Net+, Sec+ and CySA+ planning to do CISSP and CISA and I hope will be able to get full certifications as I have worked in few domains as part of development to secure the applications. Why is it really hard to get into the FAANG companies as a Technical Program Manager? Despite having proper coding skills? I have a feeling that these companies don’t prefer consulting exp at all.

I currently have 5.5YOE and I got an internal strategy offer at a mid sized tech company. The package is good but my only hesitation is that my immediate boss who will be doing my performance reviews came from a T2 firm with 3YOE and he joined the company not long ago. Trying really hard not to judge the relatively low YOE but I'm a little worried it might hamper my learning and career development experience. Am I overthinking and is my head in the wrong place? Any thoughts?

I completed technical round of interview for Cognizant and was scheduled for L2 round. But during the L2 round, there were some technical issues with the application due to which the interviewer got a lag in my voice. So he said he would reschedule the interview. What should I do next?
