Best option to finance a CPO car? Thru dealership? I don’t want to pay cash

Digital Credit Union offers 1.49% for up to 65 months on new and used vehicles

likehelpful

To get that rate you might have to setup a checking account with direct deposit; otherwise the auto loan rate is 1.99%. I’ve been able to get the lowest rate without direct deposit because I have a savings account with them and I’ve asked for an exception every time I get a loan. I now have two auto loans and a HELOC with them.

Dealer can always mark up financing. However, the manufacturer on a CPO tends to offer the best financing especially if you have good credit. I’d look at the manufacturers website to make sure you are getting the best rate. Also, you can sometimes apply online before going to the dealer and that might minimize the chances of being ripped off.

Just make sure you do some research, I had some dealers try to charge me 4 or 5 percent when I was looking for myself for the same car.

Shop around; all the credit checks are consolidated within a 14 day window if I recall correctly. I went through my bank and got a 1.9%, $0 down

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!

I’m planning on getting my real estate license this spring! My biggest hesitation is that I currently live downtown Chicago and do not own a car. I really do not want to buy or lease a car as the area I live in requires a garage spot to park. Is it realistic to believe that I can be a real estate agent in Chicago if I rely on Uber/CTA?!

Hi car 🐟

Been looking into 2019 Infiniti QX50, Lincoln MKC, Mazda CX-5, Chevy Equinox, and other similar compact to mid size SUVs but having hard time making the decision.

What are some affordable SUVs that i can buy with ~$25k budget? Hopefully it's post 2019 model and has good fuel economy and reliability (low maintenance cost). I'm less concerned on the mileage but wanting good horsepower (~250hp). Any suggestions? Thanks for your insights.
