Curious of non clinical salary in the dental field. I work in not quite ‘high end’ dental as insurance specialist. I am also front desk manager (tho not office manager). I was hired to do insurance and in the 2 months since I started I have been given a dozen more responsibilities. Insurance verification, front desk, answering phones, taking payments, training, all IT work (which I’m not even good at but I’m the only person under 50 in the office so it falls on me)

Since starting at this company in January 2022, they’ve increased my base pay from 75k to 85k. Moved me in a desirable territory to maximize sales. allowed me to speak and train reps for what has been working. Given me the freedom to work strategies that work for me.

I absolutely love this company so far. I know my worth is higher than 85k base but sheesh. The way they value me and treat their employees right. Maybe it’s worth the lesser pay?

Calling all ID Associates: Do you expect a cost of living raise from one year to the next? My mid-size ID firm did not give any associate raises for 2021-2022 and a wave of associates quit in response. I’m anxious 2023 will be no different. What’s the expectation?

Today I learnt abt Quranism. And I'm genuinely frightened by it. May God guide us all and forgive our shortcomings.

Sincere question- as a Pakistani born and settled in the US, I have many indian friends. We generally have some healthy debates. One of the arguments I find hard to debate is that we have some (indians and Pakistanis) have the same forefathers; Arab countries refuse to consider us pure Muslims and our many of our forefathers were forcefully converted. How do you argue it? I feel it’s factual and find it hard to accept.
