Why is it so hard to join a group ? My boyfriend has his group of friends (both males and females) but every time we hang out with them, I feel left out because I don’t have history with them and they all have their inside jokes and stories. He said I need to try more to interact with them but honestly I feel like certain friends mostly his female bestie is trying to not include me. After 9 years of being sober, my boyfriend just told me yesterday that he relapsed and started drinking again.
