Things changed after I watched Akshay’s mom (Indian Matchmaking) tell him even 25 is too late and not marrying somehow messes up lives of people around him. While the show was staged, there might be truth to the latter part.

Anyone watch Indian Matchmaking on Netflix? I actually kinda liked it lol

So I’m late to the Indian Matchmaking series. Is it the guy who has to be wealthy and the women who need to come from wealth? There doesn’t seem to be a lot of emphasis on what the women do for a living, but the men all seem either well-off or getting called losers. Is that what people look for in real life too? So there’s no place for women on the come up to be with someone above their own social class?

Anyone watching Indian Matchmaking? Aparna and her mother have to be the worst, right? She thinks she's a godsend and quite frankly she looks like a potato, is ignorant, doesn't sound nearly as intelligent as she professes to be, and is even more negative than I am! That's gotta say something.

Anyone know what kind of downpayment I’d need to buy a house in Atlanta? Know markets crazy right now but our rent just went up 11% for our apartment lease to renew which has me thinking I need to stop renting probably by beginning of next year . A colleague I worked with who was technically unskilled and not client facing copied my resume bullets word for word. I’m 25, make about 100k a year, have a ton of debt to pay off (Cc+student loans=50k~). I also contribute 15% to my 401k (have about 20k there). No savings.
