Have I just had bad luck with the companies I've been at or is it like this everywhere? I've had 7 managers in my 4 years of experience, 3 in one year at my first position (which is why I left) and now 4 at the 2nd company in 3 years. There has been a mix of people leaving and people getting fired but the instability feels extreme.

I am in talks with American Express Digital Product group in nyc. Would that be a good move to go to Amex at a young age, or should I get more engineering experience and then later move into PM?

My boss and another colleague both ALWAYS cc themselves on every email—it’s clearly set up as an auto rule (ie it’s not just on “important” or “CYA” type emails). Why would one want to do this? Is it to do with how Outlook doesn’t move/copy your reply emails when you file away emails? Wouldn’t “conversation mode” help with that problem? Genuinely trying to understand this
